One thing we do know is UT coaches are always on a short leash. They get the highest pay around.

And now we have to see what they can do with that talent.
I have watched so far this season and while there are moments of "real" soccer, it is still difficult to watch the irregular and inconsistent style of play under Kelly. There is way too much "kick and chase", sending balls up when there is no one up top to receive them, and a hesitancy to take on defenders when there is a numerical advantage. There were glimmers of hope yesterday, but once those legs get heavy they revert back to something that resembles soccer, but just isn't quite it! The school is too big and the facilities are too nice for such consistent mediocrity. With Dallas only 3 hours away and the soccer talent being developed in that metro, there is no excuse for Texas to not have physical athletes who know how to play!

Austin killed it in recruiting this year.

Okl. St. loss:

Pitch for players, stands for fans. Respect. Accountability. How hard is that for Okla. St. players to understand? Massive improvement though, over the 2017 home match. Only one Okla. St. player up in our stands post match this time. Okla. St. failed to place an excla. pt. on the end of the match. Still, water had to be carried and the Horns didn't. Big Mike's has become Okla. St.'s Lonesome Dove.

Regarding home field this year:

Team Oklahoma State, please try to remember to stay on the pitch after your match October 11 and out of the stands!

Emily!.... Emily!.... Emily!.... where are you!? Get back on the field soon!

***

That goes for you too Emma Jett!

***

AAAAAAAATTTTTTTTUUUUUUUUU! Sometimes you just have to go in for the tackle.

I'm not sure I like the horns from Austin FC. Too repetitive, sad sounding and untraditional so far. I much prefer the hip hop, or even better the 2015 era style dance/pop music. Please God, don't let them infiltrate soccer matches with marching band music.

Best wishes to the Horns next season! #RAMPED is very inspiring and seems to work well. Hopefully though, this is just the base layer in a multiyear build out and up to when these student athletes are mostly juniors and seniors and know when to risk more. Good luck to Baylor and shame on you OSU! You deserved what you got!

Now on to winter camps, scrimmages, summer camps, and talent shows! Go Fiji Water!

Its been two years since we left school early and went to watch you play in aggie land on a cloudy rain threatening day! Your game plan is not some damned Carl Stuart risk management scheme designed to minimize beta or whatever! Go out there and kick some Denton ASS!

...which they did! Great job Baylor. OkSU not only deserved that loss but had it coming.

Okay... Baylor gained my respect and I feel they have a great chance to beat the crap out of OkSU.

I also got a chance to watch Arkansas slip past South Carolina. The goal was an amazing play from right corner that routed through three ineffective defenders and two well placed Razorbacks in a few seconds for a goal. That game took the edge off of my first round Baylor loss hurt.

Tonight I watched Florida lose to College Station's ags on an own goal. Now I feel even less down with the Horns losing yesterday as SC and FL both lost worse than us. Arkansas is just the kind of Cinderella 8th seed team I'd love to see snooker the snot out of an ex pat ag team that lucked into the SEC championship game.
